Teen pride picnic takes place in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The last week of Pride month kicks off this week, and those over at First Christian Church and BG Teen teamed up to host the first ever BG Teen Pride Picnic.

“Offering a place for everyone to be their true self while also grilling out is important for the community and for everyone,” one member said.

BG Teen is a group for those in the LGBTQ+ and allies to get together and enjoy being themselves and make friends.

If you missed this year’s picnic, not to worry, because next year, BG Teen is planning an even bigger get together.
