Beshear announces formation of Kentucky Antisemitism Task Force

FRANKFORT, Ky. – In Thursday’s Team Kentucky Update, Gov. Andy Beshear announced the formation of the Kentucky Antisemitism Task Force.

This is part of the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based Initiatives.

The task force will have 18 members, including public officials, along with religious and community leaders.

Members are responsible for finding and recognizing antisemitism in the commonwealth and looking into Holocaust education in the state of Kentucky.

Training programs on how to manage hate crimes will also be rolled out for law enforcement throughout the state.
