McConnell and Paul headline get out the vote rally in Warren County

On Monday night, a who’s who of Kentucky Republican politicians made a stop in Warren County for a get out the vote rally.

Among the guests, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

The rally was held to support Congressman Brett Guthrie’s reelection campaign, as he goes head to head with Democrat, Hank Linderman.

A couple hundred people attended the rally at Highland Stables.

Also in attendance, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner, Ryan Quarles.

WNKY had a chance to speak with Leader McConnell and we asked him his predictions for the house and senate on Election Day.

"I’m focusing on the Senate," said McConnell. "I’m hoping we’re still in the majority. We will find out tomorrow night. The suspense is almost over and it’s time for the voters to show up. They are doing that in early voting all over the country."

In McConnell’s remarks to the crowd, the Senate Majority Leader praised President Trump, especially for his two nominations to the United States Supreme Court.
