Glasgow Attempted Robbery

GLASGOW, KY: Glasgow Police have a teen behind bars for attempted robbery. Authorities were called to South Green Market Thursday after receiving a call about a robbery.

The cashier told police that a boy came up to the counter and handed him a note that read, “Put the money in the bag with the drink and no problems, Thank you.”

The cashier said he wasn’t sure what the note meant and asked a coworker for help. That’s when the teen took off running from the store.

Officers found the boy on Parkview Drive and arrested him. The teen is facing first degree robbery charges.
