Voices of Honor: Dennie Hardin

As one of the six armed forces of the United States, the Coast Guard was formed in 1790 by Alexander Hamilton.  The maritime security, search and rescue service was placed under Hamilton’s old domain, the Department of the Treasury, until 1967 when it was transferred to Transportation. On this week’s Voices of Honor, Dennie Hardin gives us a look at his service in, and the mission of, the United States Coast Guard.
