Allen County man sentenced in relation to drug trafficking
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – An Allen County man is facing 12 years in federal prison in relation to trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Kentucky, Timothy E. Austin, 50, of Scottsville was sentenced Monday for possession with the intent to distribute roughly 154 grams of methamphetamine on August 15, 2022.
However, officials say Austin was sentenced for possessing a total of nearly 264 grams of methamphetamine intended for distribution due to “other relevant conduct of the defendant that the court considered when imposing the sentence.”
