Six arrested for possession of methamphetamine
On Monday, Tompkinsville police arrested six individuals on possession of over five dozen grams of methamphetamine.
According to the arrest reports, Tompkinsville police executed a search warrant at a residence on Galilee Lane just after midnight on Monday.
The report states they found a large amount of marijuana inside the home and inside a vehicle, plus around 62 grams of methamphetamine, several digital scales, $6,723.00 in cash, and a Ruger AR-15.
Devin Howard, 24, Ivan Murphy, 21, Taneisha Shirley, 22, Trey Williams, 22, Sky Williams, 32, and Kelton Whitrow, 23, were all arrested and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The six are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor and trafficking in marijuana totaling five pounds of more.
