Bike4Alz hosts event to help raise money for Alzheimer’s research
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bike4Alz rode into Bowling Green over the weekend and had an event down at the SOKY Marketplace to help raise money.
Bike4Alz is full of WKU students that work to raise money for the disease and even bike across the country to help bring awareness to Alzheimer’s.
The group of 12 fraternity members began their ride to raise money from San Francisco, California, on May 20th traveling from city to city.
Callan Jones, Director of Ride Operations here in Bowling Green said, “Bike4Alz is a cross country ride and we’re doing it to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. Being a part of this organization and being able to meet people that have been affected by the disease, and meet people that care so deeply about it, has been so influential in my life and also everyone else on the team.”
