WKU Volleyball hosts Lil’ Topper Camp

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s camp week at WKU and several Lil Toppers are working on their skills with some WKU athletes.

Today several elementary schoolers were able to work with WKU Volleyball.

Head Coach Travis Hudson discussed the importance of camps like this to help grow the already skyrocketing sport.

“These kids come back in the fall and, you know, they’ve got their autographed Paige Briggs jersey on,” Hudson said. “It’s just a connection and it gives these young girls, our players are great role models in this community and it just gives these young girls somebody to look up to and see strong, confident young women doing things through our sport.”
