WKU Baseball hosts camp

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Baseball is currently hosting their second wave of summer camps.

The camps began on Sunday, July 9th and have focused on improving hitting, pitching, base running, fielding, and so much more.
They are designed for the community to get to know the players and coaching staff, as well as improve their fundamentals.
“I always call it a fundraiser, but it’s a ‘fun’-raiser,” Head Coach Marc Rardin said. “You’re wanting these kids to come out in April to games on Fridays and Saturdays. You want ’em to run the bases after the games. You want ’em to know us and our players and, and, and vice versa. So, uh, it’s, it’s, to me, it’s big. And being the first-year head coach, you just want people to know who you are. You want ’em to put face to name.”
