WKU Soccer Hosts Team Camp for 7th-12th Graders

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Club and High School teams from around the city of Bowling Green had a chance to work with the WKU soccer team.

The camp focused on the fundamentals and also team building exercises.

“From a community standpoint, we are the highest level of soccer available,” WKU Soccer Assistant Coach Grant Williams said. “So, you want to give local teams in high schools an opportunity to learn from professionals that we bring in. It also is a way for us to give back to the community and give kids an opportunity to play and be exposed to Western Kentucky and the facilities and all the things that it has to offer. So, it’s a win-win for everybody.”
