Account Executive
Marquee Broadcasting Kentucky, Inc. is looking for an experienced Account Executive in Bowling Green!
We are looking for an Account Executive who will develop and maintain business on our broadcast and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has media sales experience, is a self-starter, thrives in a goal-oriented team environment, and loves to win!
Responsibilities include:
Developing new business and selling digital and broadcast products by maximizing opportunities and growing transactional accounts* Prospect and aggressively pursue digital, OTT, and new broadcast business advertisers * Provide strategic advice to help new television advertisers get the best ROI by working closely with them in a consultative role * Strategically negotiate existing business and build strong client relationships * Responsible for completing administrative tasks such as weekly forecasts, monthly reports, daily activity forms, and the credit and collection of all accounts
Requirements and Qualifications:
*Must be able to identify qualified targets, use strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process and maintain a high closing ratio * Utilize our unique resources (Hyper Local News, NBC Network, CBS Network, MeTV Network, top-rated Sports and Primetime programming, Geofencing/OTT, Web/Digital Sponsorship and Promotions) to achieve a high level of results for our clients * Should be energetic, positive, creative and passionate in order to succeed in the highly competitive environment of media sales * Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking are critical to the position * Four-year college degree preferred * Television sales experience with a proven track record of media sales a huge plus
