Cierra Waller wins for position on BGISD Board of Education
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cierra Waller has secured the vote for a position on the Bowling Green Independent School District Board of Education, according to the secretary of state’s office and unofficial results from Warren County.
Waller won with a total of 2,249 votes, bringing in 59% of the total votes.
Opposing candidate Janet Burks received 1,541 votes, bringing in 41% of the total votes.
Overall, Warren County’s voter turnout amounted to 36.19%, according to state results.
