Suspicious vehicle complaint leads to arrest of Glasgow man

A Glasgow man is behind bars after police say they located drugs inside in his vehicle.

Glasgow police officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the parking lot of Southgate Plaza. 

Officers made contact with the driver, identified as William Smith, 30. Authorities quickly determined that Smith had an active warrant for his arrest. 

After a search of the vehicle, officers say the located suspected methamphetamine in the front center console.

Smith was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Smith was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
