The annual Puppy Paddle took place at Russell Sims Park over the weekend where canines had the chance to enjoy the last few days of summer temperatures in the water. 

The event lasted from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 100 percent of the proceeds from it went to benefit the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society. 

Doggy door prizes were handed out and some competed in various contests. 

This year was the 11th annual event in Bowling Green.
