Bauer Named CUSA Setter of the Week

DALLAS, Texas — Conference USA announced volleyball’s slate of weekly award winners Monday, as the No. 23 Tops finished regular-season conference play undefeated for the fourth straight season, as they took care of Middle Tennessee this weekend. The Tops are set to play [8] Jax State on Friday in the first round of the CUSA Volleyball Tournament. Redshirt-sophomore setter Callie Bauer earned her second CUSA Setter of the Week accolades for her performance in Murfreesboro.

Bauer ended up tied for first in CUSA over the weekend with 73 total assists for a 10.43 average. The Michigan native played heavy setter offense too, collecting 15 kills off of a .429 hitting clip on the front row. She also picked up four service aces and two blocks in her full six-rotation performance throughout the week.
